Overview
The ridgetop road through Shenandoah National Park in Virginia, built largely by the Civilian Conservation Corps and completed in 1939. Some 75 overlooks open views over the Shenandoah Valley and Piedmont. At its southern end it meets the Blue Ridge Parkway.
