Overview
The MKAD orbital that for decades marked the city limit of Moscow. Completed as a four lane ring in 1962, it was rebuilt in the 1990s into a ten lane motorway with grade separated junctions. Its huge shopping centres and chronic jams make it a symbol of post Soviet Moscow.
