Overview
Thirteen villagers of Guoliang chiseled this cliff road through the Taihang Mountains by hand from 1972 to 1977, using hammers and chisels. Openings along its length gave light and earned the name road of thirteen windows. Half a kilometer of gallery over a sheer drop.
